  I give them 1 star but actually deserve NO STARS. City of Lake Worth would rather fill its coiffures rather than maintain themselves with the more reliable and present FPL. We are still without power now for 1 week since before Hurricane Irma, YET on our apparent "grid" , everyone else has power including a Super Walmart. After several phone calls to Lake Worth utilities, the only response we get from them is that, "they are surprised". Really? Pathetic! No estimate on when they can have someone address this matter, no rhyme or reason. All we get is "surprised". I see FPL trucks everywhere. Be sure I will continue to report this matter of negligence of responsibility and poor service.

  As of this review (9/22/2017) the power has gone out everyday this week for 30 minutes to 2 and a half hours for no reason other then light rain. The prices are too high for such terrible service. The people here in Lake Worth and Palm Springs deserve better service.

  I am yet to see a city of Lake Worth utility truck working on any electrical poles. They say it's due trees being in the way. My neighborhood is fine and no one will come. Try calling them is the worst, employees don't care and hang up on you. Just sale the company to FPL already.

  If it would allow me to, I would give Lake Worth Power NO STARS. Still without power after the hurricane. When a crew was asked nearest us was told "We are done here. All they need to do is flip the switch." Your fees for power are outrageous. How about we charge you for each day we are out of power. Get you stuff together or sell to FPL!

  DO NOT move to Lake Worth!!! There are other affordable towns in this state. This city is a complete rip off. The fact that they get away with charging $500 for utilities is ridiculous. I'm from New York and have never experienced anything like this in my life. It's basically f the little people and lets take the money they have left. Despicable and criminal. I can't wait for my one year lease to be over. I will be out of here just as fast as they took my money. I absolutely hate this city.
